Parking in the center of the city has always been difficult. You can park you car along the road for free in the blocks nearby. However, to avoid fines you must be careful and follow the rules:
There are stripes in the corresponding color on the road
- Blue: These parking zones are reserved for residents. Be sure not to park your vehicle here or you will be fined.
- Yellow: Yellow marked parking zones are reserved for special vehicles, you are not allowed to park here.
There also traffic signs that prohibit parking in some places. You should be aware of them before you park your car.
Free Unattendend Parking
The best place nearby to park your car for free is on Stournara Street. It is a 3-5 minute walk from the apartment.
Never leave any valuables in the car when parking on the street. Also, make sure not to leave any luggage visible in the vehicle.
